    Description

    Up for sale is a
    Vntg Copper Water Tank Float & Mounting Bracket  that is embossed w/ a "F". I found it mixed in with my dad's farm shop inventory. It weighs .86 lb. The float has a 2 1/4" diameter. The mounting bracket is 2 3/4" long, 1 5/8" wide, 7/8" deep and the mounting flange has a 1 5/8" diameter with one mounting hole. The float is connected to a pivot and shaft that operates the closing or opening of the hole. Depending on which way it is mounted, as the float rises up or down it either opens or closes the opening inside the flange. This may have been out of a toilet tank or maybe a livestock water tank.
