You are looking at a
vintage toy ZIL-O-PHONE toy in the original box with two mallets.
The box says it is EASY TO PLAY, TEACHES CO-ORDINATION AND TONE CONCEPTION.
I hope someone can use this, perhaps you had one, once upon a time.
This ZIL-O-PHONE box says MADE IN USA.
The box measures 18+3/4 by 10+1/4 by 1+3/4.
The cardboard frame xylophone can be removed from the box.l
The box is tired and worn.
The box has a split on three of the corners, as well as the top right edge seams.
We did not tape or repair it.
It comes with two wood mallets.
The 12 tubes are made of glass.
I do not know the year it was made, but I think its from the 1940s.
The parts have not been cleaned by anything abrasive that I can see.
We left any further cleaning to you.
In any case, this is a used toy.
As with most used toys, there are signs of use and travel.
Can you use this?
