    Vintage Columbus Bilateral Postal Scale by Jakob Maul, Germany
    It comes in its original box
    This is a very nice example of a double scale postal balance constructed to a German design.
    This bilateral design allows more accurate measurement of lighter items up to 2 ounces on the lower scale and the upper scale is for anything from 2 to 8 ounces.
    The base measures 5.75 x 4 inches and it stands 8 1/8" inches high.
    It makes a really good display item with its complex movement in full view.
