Leedy Timpani Tension Rod Vintage 1940's

From around the 1940's this is a Leedy timpani tension rod. It's about 5 5/8" in total length including the wing. Shows signs of use with scratches, pitting, and some rust. There's is also heavy flaking in spots. Does not have any warping. Threads look to be in good shape! Should function 100%.
