give a warmer, darker sound with a more rounded tone than the Original Series. They offer immediate response and consistent response and playability. These are ideal for players who double on other instruments since they don't need moistening. They can be shaped and filed easily for a custom sound and feel. This is a box of one alto sax reed in medium soft strength, equivalent to 2.5-3.0. These last much longer than natural reeds with better consistency. Also available in soft, medium, medium hard, and hard.
